Pearl does not have as much at stake at Kiffen. Kiffen has a new boss that was brought in to clean things up after he was hired by the previous A.D. If something damning comes out, Kiffen's job will be at stake. I doubt if Pearl has an ax to grind but I would not trust Kiffen at all.
