For those that follow women's basketball, does it seem concerning that so many have hit the portal? Even more concerning, it seems, is who he's pulling in from the portal to replace those leaving. So far, two juniors who averaged 10 and 14 minutes this past year. It's been a downward spiral the last 8 years since schaefer left.

Eh, I think it’s going to be the new normal unless somebody in the fanbase ponies up for WBK like, for example, TCU.

Okot I think is the biggest loss. A good coach can make her an All-American by the time she graduates.

Is it concerning? If you’re concerned with us ever being a national power again, then yes. If you’re concerned we’ll beat Ole Miss next year, then probably yes. If you’re concerned with us making it as a 8-12 seed in the NCAA Tournament next year, probably no.

It's basketball. Players not entering the portal are the exception. Not quite there yet in football, but we will be in a couple of years.

Possibly this is a sign that we aren't investing much NIL in women's basketball which is absolutely the correct play for our athletic department
Except, name the sport we ARE investing NIL in. They all keep losing players and are in the bottom of the SEC.

I haven’t tracked who has left beyond Okot and Powe. I think those were our best returning players, so it’s not a great situation.

Any possibility we could out bid the Dallas Wings for this player? I'd be willing to pony up some NIL dough. We could only hope Jack! BTW.....she's pretty good at basketball too.***

Right so put money in those sports to correct which will ultimately get more money and interest in the school. Then start putting money back in wbb, etc
