I don't like the sport either. But a lot can happen in 0-0 games. It pisses me off when people say games like the Alabama-LSU MNC game was boring.

I said earlier, my kids started asking to watch part of the world cup. It kind of pulled me in a little. I am surprised to actually have enjoyed a 0-0 game a little.

About 30 years ago they could pass it back to the GK and he could pick it up. There was so much time wasting they had to change the rule. Now at least he has to only use his feet.

I would change the points system to not give any point for a 0-0 tie. Would force teams to try and score more.

I'm not sure I'd let somebody's honest opinion about a game piss me off, but I do agree that more scoring doesn't necessarily mean more excitement (but that's just my opinion, lol). But I do think a zero-zero tie (especially when it's not particularly rare in the sport) is never going to be palatable to the majority of American sports fans.
