BS. Maybe in Amite or Pike County. Starkville real estate pricing is offensive and absurd.

Especially more offensive is to live in a town without allure and near nothing - and that includes the university

So you need to BRIBE people with a high salary to even consider the place seriously
I am trying to figure out what is BS. Are you saying $999,000.00 salary per year isn't a lot of money in Mississippi?

Now pull up the file for the rest of the university. Bet it’s even more eye opening.
Keenum makes right at a million overseeing 5,000 employees. The CEO of Cadence bank with the same amount of employees is significantly higher than that. According to a lot of sites which aren’t exactly verifiable, the average is @ 70,000

We sure have gotten our money's worth.**
Looking at BAMA's 2022 results, they had $214M in revenue (double ours) and $69M in salaries and benefits or 32% of revenue. They received $52M of revenue from contributions. State's Bulldog Club chipped in $14M to us.

I wish I got ahold of Fish's $$$, but know of a number of "kids" in their late 20's that are very close if not just over $100k already. They are all in different job roles and different industries.
I've seen totally unqualified college grads getting $85k right out of college to fill a role. And yes, it was due to DEI.
