Why give Rutgers or Sparty any strategic advantages?

Heck, he may want to play. I'd say he's gotta get cleared after surgery. Similar to Barkley in his final game, these kids might take snaps in the bowl, but not be the primary players.

Franklin has always said he will only discuss an injury if it is season ending. This injury is season ending. The bowl game is a different story.

Just curious, but have you advocated for playing Allar and having a youth movement since the OSU game? I've not followed you specifically enough to know.

However, for those who have (they know who they are) the bowl is precisely what you want.

The QB situation is different. Clifford has no eligibility after this year. So why not give Allar more reps since he will be the starter next year. The guys that I'm referring to are those who have eligibility but opt out to declare early.
