It was a ton of fun. The whole atmosphere was wild. People from all over the world. Anyone else go?

I went once, back when I was at PSU in the late 80s. Had to go to some Schriner hall in Altoona as it was CCTV.

Went to the first Wrestlemania but on CCTV at the Spectrum in 1985. Seeing friends pics on social media seemed like this past weekend was a good ole type of fun time!!

Is it me or does it seem like the WWE (or whatever they're now known as) has, for the most part, a lot less "larger than life" characters than they used to? Undertaker, Kamala, Andre the Giant, Ultimate Warrior, Yokozuna, Hogan, etc. has given way to Dean Ambrose, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and number of others who would not stand out in a crowd nearly the way the stars from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s would have. Less gimmicky now, for sure, but less interesting as a result.

Just signed a $5B deal with Netflix. At least some folks still find it interesting.

I don't follow WWE anymore but I know who some of the stars are and I think you are correct. It's just less interesting in my opinion because it has less gimmicks. Gimmicks were fun in the 80's and 90's but at the same time were certainly corny.

I’m guessing they don’t offer lattes and scones at the concession stands.
