He wrote a story about a recruit’s official visit and it included quotes from the recruit about how great Ole Miss was, etc. The recruit posted on social media that he never said any of those quotes and Yancey made them up. Yancey then said he got the quotes from another reporter, which wasn’t true either. He also messaged the player asking him to take down his post because it was making him look bad.
