Good musicals rule.

Emma would be on my Hall Pass list fo' sho'.

she's got a new series out named "The Curse". I like redheads but in my dating years, came to hate their translucent skin. They were very limited in outdoor events due to sunburn (forget beaching, fishing, bike riding, boating, etc.). In addition, when you got them out of their long sleeve pantsuits, in real life, you can see so much of their veins they look like a map of the interstate highway network in the USA. (for you, rail systems in Central France)

I am a huge Jill Wagner fan. I also, weirdly, really like Hallmark Xmas movies. My wife goes to bed ~ 9:30 so I will watch sports (this week is MACaction/MAC football) and switch to Hallmark during commercials. The plots are so light you don't have to invest in the whole movie. And there is something uplifting and energizing about them.

Regardless, I like a movie named Christmas Cookies starring the beautiful and talented Jill Wagner.

The plots are light because they are all the same…with the actresses and actors…my wife loves them…

For any home alone fans (just for fun):

Home Alone is a Christian movie about Kevin finding faith.

He starts the movie in a non-praying house, making an evil wish to Santa (an idol) for his family to disappear. While at first he enjoys his time without his family, he has a yearning in his heart to be reunited with their love. He consults a Santa impersonator asking for help, but comes to realize that this is a false god who can’t help him.

Disheartened he enters a peaceful and beautiful church where he encounters old man Marley, a patriarch who has inspired fear in him in the past. Marley approaches Kevin w/pierced hands, asks Kevin if he has been good, and tells him a version of the prodigal son story.

Kevin returns from the church, changed. He makes dinner and prays to God at home before his final confrontation between good and evil. The home is defending us now a Christian household. Kevin’s victory is not just over the robbers but his sinful nature, and by conquering that he is reunited with his family and gets to experience the true meaning of Christmas.

Hallmark movies have good-looking leads, the female leads usually being fairly well-endowed, high production values (other than hit-or-miss writing), and a happy ending. The wife watches them and I look up from my math every now and again. You don’t feel guilty about watching Hallmark the way you do watching, for example, “Mike and Molly.” (I swore only last week to never again watch M&M. I got my dignity to consider.)
Well endowed and a happy ending? Sounds perfect

Did you know Top Gun is actually about Maverick’s struggle with his sexuality?

Two great non-Christmas movies that take place during Christmas - Batman Returns and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

IMO Albert Finney as Scrooge is the best version of A Christmas Carol. 1970

"Miracle on 34th Street" deserves an honorable mention. A very young Natalie Wood already a shining star.
