All it means to me is that too many people were living there in the first place. Now the space they took up can be repurposed for the solid citizens who are moving in. The obvious benefit is that the economy won't have to create as many jobs.

The ones who left, obviously. The ancestors of the privileged stole the land from the natives. What's happening now is a form of retribution. It's part of the narrative.
I didn't see any Tee Pee's in those homeless encampments
