Saraland (Ala.) four-star defensive lineman Antonio Coleman has committed to Alabama.

The 6-foot-2, 265-pounder committed to the Crimson Tide while also holding offers from the likes of Tennessee, Auburn, Texas, Notre Dame and Clemson.

Coleman is the No. 213 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 23 defensive lineman and No. 13 player in Alabama.

Coleman is already the sixth pledge for Nick Saban and the Tide in the 2025 class. He’s teammates with Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Ryan Williams, the No. 3 overall prospect in the cycle and Alabama’s top pledge.

The lineman was in Tuscaloosa to watch Alabama take on Texas over the weekend. That trip solidified his decision to choose the Tide and join his Saraland compatriot. Coleman bolsters Alabama’s ‘2025 class, which currently ranks No. 1 in the nation, per the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Ranking.

“Really, it’s to fulfill my dreams,” Coleman told BamaOnLine. “I’ve been wanting to do this since I was a kid. It would definitely be to fulfill my dreams.”

“Since I was a kid, I’ve always liked Alabama,” he added. “I always said that since I was a kid, it would be my dream to play for Alabama. I feel like I’ve just got to fulfill my dreams at a nice program.”

Bama building big 2025 class already

Alabama offered Coleman during his March 4 visit to Tuscaloosa. Freddie Roach led Alabama’s recruitment of the blue-chip lineman, speaking with him about three times a week.

“Coach Freddie Roach is a funny guy,” Coleman said. “The thing I like about Coach Roach is that he knows when it’s time to work and when it’s time to joke around and build a relationship with his players. I like that the most about Coach Roach. I appreciate him for recruiting me to Alabama. That’s really my favorite coach up there.”

Coleman is a top-250 prospect, and he’s still the lowest-ranked commit in the Crimson Tide’s young 2025 class. Behind Williams, Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin four-star WR Jaime Ffrench is the No. 11 overall prospect, while Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star running back Anthony Rogers is the No. 5 tailback in the cycle.

Evans (Ga.) four-star interior offensive lineman Mason Short is a top-10 IOL, as is Fairburn (Ga.) four-star Dontrell Glover. The linemen committed within two weeks of each other back in April.
