2027 LB Ba'Roc Willis commits to Alabama Crimson Tide
Moody (Ala.) 2027 linebacker Ba’Roc Willis has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide, he told On3.
“I’ve known coach (DL coach Freddie) Roach since the 7th grade and I believe in him,” Willis told On3. “When I went down there, it was a good atmosphere and it felt like home. Everyone was having fun and smiling and just vibing at Alabama. Plus I know I will get developed there.”
Willis is just the fourth rising sophomore to announce a college decision — joining defensive lineman Zane Rowe (Oklahoma), wide receiver Tank White (Syracuse) and tight end Connor Winn (Rutgers).

“I just wanted to focus on football and trying to win state with my teammates,” Willis said on why he committed so early. “It was on my mind early to get this out the way.”
in his freshman season, Willis finished with 79 tackles, 20 quarterback hurries and 9 sacks.
Looking at Alabama’s 2026 recruiting class, the Tide currently hold one commitment from Suwanee (Ga.) Peachtree Ridge top-100 cornerback Dorian Barney. Alabama’s 2025 class ranks No. 2 nationally in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings behind 21 commitments — four of which rank as five-star recruits.
