Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) DeMatha Catholic four-star running back Tovani Mizell has earned an offer from Alabama.
He is the No. 108 overall recruit in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Olney (Md.) Good Counsel four-star linebacker Aaron Chiles, Baltimore St. Frances Academy four-star quarterback Michael Van Buren, Springdale (Md.) Charles Herbert Flowers four-star cornerback Braydon Lee and Baltimore St. Paul’s School four-star EDGE Ernest Willor are the only recruits playing in Maryland.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $64k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Mizell put up a big-time performance at OT7, impressing On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power.
“Tovani Mizell impressed with his receiving skills at OT7, coming down the the best catches we saw from a running back not named Rueben Owens,” Power said. “We saw the Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Newman product come down a fantastic leaping touchdown catch, finishing with a toe tap in the corner of the end zone on Thursday. It’s always good to see running back prospects with receiver-level ball skills and that looks to be the case with Mizell.”
