Alabama Baseball announces Friday doubleheader to conclude Ole Miss series
Alabama and Ole Miss will play a doubleheader Friday at Sewell-Thomas Stadium to conclude their final regular season series of the year.
The first game will have first pitch at 2:00 p.m. CT with the second game start planning on starting an after the first one concludes.
Both games will be nine-inning contests barring extra innings.
The Crimson Tide won the first game of the series Thursday night in a 4-1 victory.
Xavier Rivas had 12 strikeouts for the Rebels but gave up four runs on four hits and four walks in seven innings. On the other side, Luke Holman also gave up four hits and four walks but allowed only one run in 6.2 innings.

Alabama rightfielder Andrew Pinckney got on base three times via a walk, hit-by-pitch and a home run.
Alabama is 36-17 on the season while Ole Miss, the defending College World Series champion, 25-27. In conference play, the Rebels have a 6-22 record, which is the worst in the SEC.
