Details have been released on what new Alabama head baseball coach Rob Vaughn will make to lead the Crimson Tide.

According to a report from On3’s Charlie Potter, Vaughn has received a five-year contract. He will be paid $900,000 annually over the five years.

Vaughn replaced former head coach Brad Bohanon, who was fired amid a betting scandal during this past season. Interim coach Jason Jackson took over and led the Crimson Tide to a Super Regional this year.

Jackson is staying on as the top assistant coach under Vaughn, and he also received a new contract on Tuesday. Jackson signed a two-year deal that will pay him $300,000 per year, according to Potter.

Vaughn was 183-115 overall as a head coach with the Terrapins. He coached the team as the head coach starting in 2018 and was an assistant with the Terps from 2013-17. He also served as an assistant at Kansas State from 2011-12.

“I’m excited to get started. I’m excited to roll my sleeves up and get to work, because the cupboard’s not bare, I can promise you that,” Rob Vaughn previously said. “It’s time for us knock down the gates of Omaha. I’ve been waiting all day to say this: Roll Tide.”

In addition to Potter and Vaughn, several other Alabama athletics employees had new contracts approved on Tuesday. That list includes associate athletic director for sports medicine Jeff Allen, who works with the football program, as well as head softball coach Patrick Murphy. In total, there 12 were members of the Crimson Tide athletics department who had contracts approved on Tuesday
