As a team, the Crimson Tide finished the regular season with a 33-24 record and were just 13-17 in the SEC. Alabama was much stronger at home than at any other arena, sporting a 22-8 home record. In terms of away games and neutral site games, the Crimson Tide finished the year with a sub .500 record.
Alabama did earn a berth in the regional round of the NCAA baseball championship tournament. The Crimson Tide found themselves in the Tallahassee Regional, hosted by the Florida State Seminoles. Unfortunately for them, they couldn’t find any traction down in Florida and were bounced out quickly. Alabama suffered back-to-back losses in the regional round, first against UCF 8-7, followed by an elimination loss to Stetson 4-0.
