Don’t look now, but Alabama has two wins in the SEC Baseball Tournament.

The Crimson Tide defeated Arkansas 4-3 on Wednesday night to advance in an ever-changing bracket. Afterward, coach Brad Bohannon celebrated accordingly — and he probably got his team fired up in the process.

Alabama had a comfortable lead early in the game against Arkansas, but the Crimson Tide held on to come away with the 4-3 win in the double elimination round of the 2022 SEC Baseball Tournament on Wednesday. That turned out to be the last game of the day as rain moved into the area.

Alabama had a 4-1 lead at one point, but a two-run home run from Chris Lanzilli brought Arkansas within one run. After a runner got on base in the bottom of the ninth inning, Dylan Ray came in to close out the win and come away with the save.

Inclement weather shakes up 2022 SEC Baseball Tournament schedule

Alabama vs. Arkansas turned out to be the last game at Hoover Metropolitan Complex on Wednesday. The next two games got pushed back to Thursday due to the weather forecast — making for a crazy schedule the rest of the way.
