Jalen Milroe confirms he will return to Alabama in 2024
Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe has made a decision on his future with the Crimson Tide. Milroe appeared on “The Next Round” on Thursday and was asked if he has decided if he is returning for his senior season.
“Yea, I’m coming back for my senior year,” Milroe said, ending any talk of him potentially looking at the 2024 NFL draft.
That is obviously huge news for Alabama fans who saw Jalen Milroe transform into one of the top quarterbacks in college football down the stretch.
Entering the College Football Playoff, Milroe has passed for 2,718 yards and 23 touchdowns, with only six interceptions. He has also rushed for 468 yards and 12 scores.
After a rough start to the season, he helped lead Alabama to the College Football Playoff, where the Crimson Tide will face Michigan in a semifinal game on Jan. 1.
Jalen Milroe went from being replaced as the Alabama starting quarterback following a loss to Texas in Week 2 to leading the Crimson Tide to the CFP.
He finished No. 6 in Heisman voting this season and is sure to be one of the favorites to win the award as a senior in 2024.
First things first, though. Milroe still has a chance to lead Alabama to a national title this season.

The 2024 NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Michigan, with the first round on Thursday, April 25, the second and third rounds on Friday, April 26, and the fourth through seventh rounds on Saturday, April 27.
Players will have the opportunity to solidify their draft stock at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana from February 26 through March 4.
The three-day event will be broadcasted throughout the weekend on ESPN and NFL Network.
