Alabama Crimson Tide fans in attendance for Monday night’s College Football championship got their first glimpse of star cornerback Josh Jobe, who was spotted trotting through his team’s end zone while placing his weight on a crutch.
On3’s Matt Zentiz first reported the devastating injury to Jobe who has already had surgery on the foot he injured roughly a month ago.

Jobe, a preseason second-team All-American, has played in 12 of the Crimson Tide’s 13 games and has 38 tackles and two interceptions. Alabama coach Nick Saban revealed after the Tide’s win over LSU November 6 that Jobe had been working through a turf toe injury.
With Jobe sidelined, the Alabama Crimson Tide two starting cornerbacks will likely be redshirt junior Jalyn Armour-Davis and five-star freshman Kool-Aid McKinstry. Armour-Davis, who is tied for the team-lead with three interceptions, has missed the Tide’s last two games with a hip injury.
