WATCH: Alabama DB Terrion Arnold delivers special Christmas gift to high school janitor
Alabama defensive back Terrion Arnold got into the giving spirit in an amazing way this holiday. He went back to his old high school in Florida to make good on a promise he made his janitor.
Arnold promised the janitor at John Paul II Catholic High School he’d give him his jersey. Apparently, the janitor thought Arnold forgot, and the Crimson Tide star recently returned to the school to give him one of his crimson jerseys with his No. 3 on it. He posted the exchange on Tik Tok and, later, on Twitter.
The reaction was priceless.
“First time in my life I finally look good,” the janitor joked after Arnold told him to put on the jersey.
Along with the video, Arnold had a simple message with his posts. He encouraged his followers to “be a blessing” this holiday season because people don’t know what others are going through in their own lives.

Arnold is coming off an impressive redshirt freshman season with Alabama in 2022. He totaled 45 tackles, a tackle for loss and an interception for the Crimson Tide defense in his first season of action after sitting out the 2021 campaign. For his efforts, he received All-Freshman Team honors from the SEC along with two of his teammates: offensive lineman Tyler Booker and defensive lineman Jaheim Oatis.
Alabama went 10-2 in the regular season, only losing in close games to Tennessee and LSU. The Crimson Tide now turns its attention to the Sugar Bowl Dec. 31 against Kansas State and has already started preparing for the game. The team will have two of its biggest stars on the field that day, too, as quarterback Bryce Young and EDGE Will Anderson — two projected top picks in the 2023 NFL Draft — decided to play in the game rather than opt out to get ready for the draft.
