Alabama defensive lineman Hunter Osborne enters the Transfer Portal

Alabama Crimson Tide defensive lineman Hunter Osborne has entered the Transfer Portal.

Osborne spent one season with the Crimson Tide. However, he did not see any game action during the season for Alabama, taking a redshirt and leaving him with four more seasons of eligibility instead. Still, it was a good season for Alabama, winning the SEC and going to the College Football Playoff.

Hunter Osborne played high school football at Hewitt-Trussville (AL), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 175 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Alabama is going through plenty of changes as a program in the wake of legendary head coach Nick Saban‘s retirement. To replace Saban, the Crimson Tide brought in Kalen DeBoer to replace him. However, with the coach that Alabama’s players committed to play for moving on, many have also decided to move on from the program and choose a new school.
