FOX Nation announces release date for Alabama football docuseries about 2024 season

The 2024 Alabama football season generated plenty of intrigue after the Nick Saban era came to an end. All the while, FOX Nation chronicled the journey as part of a new docuseries, which will premiere next week.
The Tides That Bind: Inside Alabama Football will debut Feb. 19, the company announced. The series has six episodes and includes interviews with head coach Kalen DeBoer, as well as players such as Malachi Moore, Ryan Williams and Jalen Milroe.
Wavelength and Walk-On Media created the series and partnered with Range Sports. Former Alabama cornerback Caleb Castille, who won two national championships with the Crimson Tide under Saban, is an executive producer.
“We are thrilled to bring our viewers this intimate behind the scenes look at the historic Roll Tide football team as they navigate the trials and tribulations of a year in transition,” said Lauren Petterson, President of FOX Nation, in a statement.
The Tides That Bind takes fans inside the journey of the 2024 season, starting with the huge win over Georgia at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Episode 2 then focuses on DeBoer and the shocking loss to Vanderbilt, and Episode 3 looks at defensive coordinator Kane Wommack and Moore in the aftermath of that game, as well as the bounce-back win over South Carolina.

In Episode 4, the show bounces between DeBoer’s introduction as Saban’s replacement and the loss to Tennessee, as well as the win over Missouri. Episode 5 then goes deep into the LSU matchup – which featured plenty of College Football Playoff implications – and the finale in Episode 6 walks fans through the pivotal loss to Oklahoma and the Iron Bowl against Auburn.
Kalen DeBoer, Alabama ready for Year 2
Alabama ended up finishing 9-4 overall, including a 5-3 mark in SEC play, in DeBoer’s first season as head coach. The Crimson Tide were active on the recruiting trail this offseason, though, bringing in a highly rated recruiting class.
Alabama’s group ranked No. 3 in the country during the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Ranking. The headliner of the class is Five Star Plus+ quarterback Keelon Russell – the No. 2 overall player, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Russell was among the early enrollees in Tuscaloosa last month, and Alabama will now get ready for spring practice. That will culminate with the annual A-Day spring game April 12 at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
