Carrollton (Ga.) five-star quarterback Julian Lewis remains committed to USC, but the 6-foot-0.5, 185-pounder is not slowing down his recruitment process.

Lewis visited Auburn over the weekend and is set to make trips to Colorado and Georgia over the next two weeks. On Monday, Kalen DeBoer and the new staff at Alabama officially re-offered the elite gunslinger.

Only Georgia has had Lewis on campus more than the Crimson Tide throughout his recruitment. He made multiple trips to Tuscaloosa in 2023 — including three from July to October. As DeBoer looks to usher in a new era of football in T-Town, he and the Crimson Tide staff will try to get back in the mix properly for the No. 10 overall prospect and No. 2 QB in the 2025 cycle — per the On3 Industry Ranking.

“I think Georgia is probably the biggest threat to USC with Julian Lewis right now,” On3’s Chad Simmons said this month. “They haven’t really identified a 2025 quarterback they wanted up to this point, and he has become that by reclassifying. Auburn, with their offense under Hugh Freeze, is another to keep an eye on.”

Lewis was a finalist for Gatorade National Player of the Year alongside two senior class quarterbacks — Five-Star Plus+ Alabama signee Julian Sayin and Five-Star Plus+ Florida signee DJ Lagway — this fall.

In his sophomore season, Lewis finished the season with 3,094 passing yards and 48 touchdowns. He only threw two interceptions in 13 games. The Carrollton offense averaged 39.0 points per game. He also threw for over 4,000 yards and 48 TDs as a freshman a season ago.

Lewis was the top-ranked prospect in the 2026 cycle, but opted to reclassify to 2025 earlier this month.

“Since I was 7 years old one of my goals has been to play D1 football. Through hard work and sacrifice that goal has become a reality. I have been blessed to have 2 good seasons under Coach Joey King and I have confidence that after this coming season I will be ready to compete at the next level. So after praying and talking with my family, coaches and trainers I will be reclassifying to the class of 2025,” Lewis told On3 upon his reclassification.

Lewis has an On3 NIL Valuation of $615K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
