Top 100 EDGE Justin Hill on his official visit to Alabama.

Cincinnati Winton Woods four-star EDGE Justin Hill has committed to Alabama, he announced on Wednesday.

He chose the Crimson Tide over Ohio State, Oregon and USC.

Hill is the No. 48 overall prospect and No. 6 EDGE in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 4 player in Ohio.

While the in-state Buckeyes looked to have the momentum in Hill’s recruitment leading into his decision, the Crimson Tide never wavered as a top contender. Visits to Tuscaloosa in April and June helped cement Hill’s feelings on the new-look Bama. He now becomes the sixth top-100 commit in the mix for Kalen DeBoer and Co.

“I love the campus and that was all great. Really bonded with the staff. Hanging out with the players getting that connection with the guys. They accept me in that role and part of that team,” Hill told On3 of his June 14 official visit to T-Town.

“Obviously they’re the standard when it comes to college football,” he said. “They have been for awhile. I’ve always liked the school and how they’re ran. I fell in love with how the campus is, how calm it is, how they play football. How the staff is open. I came down for the spring game and I was welcomed by the fans. Kids were asking me for autographs and it was great to feel welcomed.”

Bama adds to monster 2025 recruiting class

It’s another monumental recruiting win for DeBoer and the new-look Tide, who continue to prove their recruiting chops this summer. Alabama remains No. 2 in the nation in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings and now has 22 commitments overall.
