Alabama get PWO commit from IMG Academy TE Jax Porter

Alabama has the No. 1 recruiting class in the 2022 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking.
The Crimson Tide may also soon have one of the best preferred walk-on classes in the nation as well.
IMG Academy tight end Jax Porter accepted a PWO offer from the Crimson Tide, announcing his decision Saturday.
Porter had full scholarship offers from Akron and SMU. He is originally from Dallas, Texas, and moved to go to IMG in January 2020.

Alabama has the No. 1 recruiting class in the country
Alabama has 19 scholarship commitments in the 2022 class, and all are four-star recruits and above.
Alabama has four five-star recruits in the On3 Consensus – a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. They are Alabaster (Ala.) Thompson EDGE Jeremiah Alexander, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy offensive tackle Tyler Booker, Hartford (Ala.) Geneva County running back Emmanuel Henderson and Martin (Tenn.) Westview quarterback Ty Simpson of Martin (Tenn.) Westview.
The Crimson Tide also have Kax Porter’s IMG Academy teammate and position mate Jaleel Skinner, a five-star prospect according to On3.
Clearwater (Fla.) Lakewood four-star Amari Niblack and Dayton (Ohio) Wayne four-star Elijah Brown are the other tight end commits in the Alabama class. Both are top-300 recruits in the On3 Consensus.
