Alabama linebacker Kendrick Blackshire enters NCAA transfer portal

Alabama linebacker Kendrick Blackshire has entered the NCAA transfer portal.

Blackshire has spent all three years of his college career with the Crimson Tide, becoming a staple of Alabama’s special teams units. He’s played in 24 games in his three seasons in Tuscaloosa where he racked up 25 tackles (two for loss) and forced a fumble this past season against Middle Tennessee State that he also recovered.

Blackshire played high school football at Duncanville (GA), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 193 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
