Alabama offers 4-star athlete Jacobe Johnson
Alabama has entered the mix for one of the best prospects from the state of Oklahoma, four-star athlete Jacobe Johnson out of Mustang, Okla.
Johnson is the No. 98 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He is the fourth-highest rated athlete in the class behind St. Louis (Mo.) IMG Academy five-star athlete Samuel M’Pemba, Heathsville (Va.) Northumberland four-star athlete Cameron Seldon and Temple (Texas) four-star athlete Mikal Harrison-Pilot
Bixby (Okla.) four-star tight end Luke Hasz is the lone Oklahoma recruit ranked ahead of Johnson in the On3 Consensus.

Johnson currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $15.8k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
On3’s Jeremy Crabtree said Johnson’s recruitment is one of the most important battles set to take play in traditional Big 12 territory this recruiting cycle.
“A two-sport star, Jacobe Johnson is being recruited by numerous schools as a receiver/defensive back and also as a wing in basketball,” Crabtree said. “While he does have a lengthy national offer list, all indications are this is boiling down to an in-state battle between the Sooners and the Cowboys – to play both sports.”
