Alabama offers 2025 4-star WR Caleb Cunningham
Ackerman (Miss.) Choctaw County four-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham received an offer from Alabama on Friday. He spent the day visiting Tuscaloosa.
Cunningham is the No. 6 overall prospect and No. 1 wide receiver in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Mississippi.
The 6-foot-3, 175-pound wideout holds 15 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Ole Miss is leading for his commitment at 33.6%.
“It will be hard for me,” Cunningham told On3’s Chad Simmons on March 21 about his decision. “I am looking for who will show the most love and make me feel at home. I want to see who loves me, who trusts me and where I feel I fit.”

Schools are starting to stand out to Cunningham
A few programs are currently standing out to Cunningham. He broke them down with Simmons.
Florida State: “I was back this weekend and hung out and took pictures. (Mike) Norvell offered me and I feel like he loves me a lot… I like the staff. It’s a cool place to be. We talked about God a lot and I loved that. I just felt at home.”

Oregon coach getting NFL buzz
Miami: “Miami has a lot of loud fans and nice facilities. I am meeting the next receivers coach (Kevin Beard) in the spring. I saw Miami’s game against Pittsburgh. It is a nice place and they are rebuilding.”
Mississippi State: “Coach (Chad) Bumphis just came in and I love him a lot. We have been talking a lot and they want me there bad. Coach (Zach) Arnett was the coach that originally offered me. They want me and they feel I would be a great fit for them. State is right up the road, so I definitely feel at home there. They want me there all the time.”
Ole Miss: “They have a good staff. All of them love me and they stay in touch. Coach (Derrick) Nix is a great receivers coach and a nice guy. He knows how to coach his receivers. Every time I am there, they all make me feel at home.”
Right now, Cunningham is far away from a decision. However, he is enjoying the process so far.
“It’s really crazy, the atmosphere is just different at all the colleges I get to go see,” Cunningham shared with Simmons on Jan. 20. “I love watching college football, probably more than the NFL cause I just love college football.”
