Alabama offers 4-star TE Caleb Odom
Carrollton (Ga.) four-star tight end Caleb Odom received an offer from Alabama on Saturday. He received it following a visit to the Crimson Tide.
Odom is the No. 125 overall prospect and No. 8 tight end in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 23 player in Georgia.
On3 rates Odom higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 38 overall prospect, No. 3 tight end and No. 6 player in Georgia.
The 6-foot-6, 215-pound recruit holds 44 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Penn State has a close lead for his commitment at 19.4%.
Odom is currently interested in multiple programs. One of them is Colorado.
“It means a lot,” Odom told On3’s Jeremy Johnson on Jan. 18 about head coach Deion Sanders. “Knowing what Deion has done in his career before coaching and what kind of stature he has is crazy… I know he was a great player on the field. He was Prime Time. He could lock down any receiver. I think what he has done as a player will fit leading a great college program. He’s experienced it before.”
“Colorado will definitely stay in consideration for me until I make my decision this summer,” he added. “I’m definitely planning to visit. Hopefully, I can get there for an official visit in the summertime.”

LSU is another program that has Odom’s attention. He visited the Tigers on Nov. 5 for their game against Alabama.
“Definitely the atmosphere of the place,” Odom told Billy Embody of The Bengal Tiger about why he likes LSU. “Baton Rouge is a great place and every Saturday it’s rocking so that definitely caught my eye. I knew it was coming soon and I am very happy about the opportunity.”
“Coach (Mike) Denbrock said that he wanted to have the best tight ends on his team and that I fit that,” he added. “He said me and him can do great things together. We’re building a stronger connection now, but he seems like a great coach.”
Odom, who is officially visiting Penn State on the weekend of June 10, has an On3 NIL Valuation of $98K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
