Alabama offers On3's top linebacker Troy Bowles
Alabama has entered the mix for Tampa Jesuit four-star linebacker and top-100 recruit Troy Bowles, who is the son of Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive coordinator Todd Bowles.
Nick Saban offered Troy Bowles a scholarship Saturday during a recruiting visit to Alabama.
On3 rates Bowles as the No. 63 overall recruit and the No. 1 linebacker in the 2023 On300 ranking. The On3 Consensus – a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies – has Bowles as the No. 49 overall player and No. 2 linebacker in the 2023 cycle.
“Troy Bowles has instincts and awareness in spades and the feel for making plays on the ball. His versatility in the run game and coverage sets him apart from many peers at the position,” On3 National Recruiting Analyst Gerry Hamilton said a few months ago.
