Hamilton recently narrowed down to a top five from more than a dozen offers: Alabama, Creighton, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Georgetown. Mississippi State is thought to be the leader at this point, but Alabama is making a serious push with the expectation they can get him on campus for an official visit soon.
As a junior last season, he led Clinton to the Mississippi 6A boys basketball championship as he averaged 17 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.4 blocks. After missing the 2020 EYBL circuit, he suited up for Team Thad and averaged 5.1 points and 2.8 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the field.
