Alabama is trending to land 2025 four-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).

Warchant’s Michael Langston entered an expert prediction with a 55% confidence level that Ffrench will choose the Crimson Tide. On3 National Recruiting Analyst Sam Spiegelman submitted the same pick in June with a 60% confidence level.

Alabama is the overwhelming favorite according to the RPM, with a 91.9% chance to land Ffrench’s commitment. In a distant second and third are Florida State and Florida at 1.9% and 1.2%, respectively.

Ffrench is the No. 13 overall prospect and No. 4 wide receiver in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 player in Florida.

Ffrench continues to build relationships

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound receiver is set to commit on July 22. He is expected to choose between Alabama, Florida State, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Penn State. Ffrench has been to Tuscaloosa multiple times throughout his recruitment, building relationships with the coaching staff at Alabama.

“I got to see more and get around the coaches more,” Ffrench told BamaOnLine. “Get more of a good bond with Coach [Tommy] Rees, Coach [Holmon] Wiggins, Coach [Joe] Cox, and, most definitely, Coach Saban. Anytime I get out there, it’s a good time.

“They all come with the same thing: The biggest picture is they want me on the team,” Ffrench said.

Ffrench currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $140K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Alabama hot on the recruiting trail

Alabama already has one wide receiver committed in its 2025 class. Saraland (Ala.) Five-Star Plus+ receiver Ryan Williams is the No. 2 overall prospect in the nation. He joined the Crimson Tide’s class in October of last year. Also pledged to Alabama’s 2025 group are Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star running back Anthony Rogers, Evans (Ga.) four-star offensive lineman Mason Short and Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes four-star offensive lineman Dontrell Glover.

Through mid-July, Nick Saban’s staff has put together what is currently the No. 3 class in the 2024 cycle. The Tide’s 14 commits make for a smaller class for now, but has the highest average rating per commit. Five-Star Plus+ Carlsbad (Calif.) quarterback Julian Sayin headlines the pack along with five-stars Jaylen Mbakwe and Perry Thompson.
