Alabama WR Isaiah Bond enters NCAA Transfer Portal
Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Isaiah Bond has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, according to Pete Nakos of On3.
“Alabama wide receiver Isaiah Bond is expected to enter the transfer portal, a source tells @On3sports,” Nakos posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. “The sophomore tallied 48 catches for 668 yards and four touchdowns this season. Nick Kelly was first to report.”
Afterwards, Nakos confirmed he had entered the portal. Bond amassed 48 catches for 668 yards and four touchdowns in 2023, with none bigger than the miraculous game-winning catch he made against Auburn in the Iron Bowl, saving Alabama’s season.
Isaiah Bond played high school football at Buford (GA), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 60 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Time will tell where Isaiah Bond takes his talents for 2024. As a recruit, he had plenty of options before takings his talents to Alabama, including Georgia, Miami, Texas and LSU.
