DJ Dale in uniform, participating in pregame warmups vs LSU
The Alabama defensive line could be getting a key piece back. DJ Dale was participating in warmups and is in uniform ahead of the Crimson Tide’s game against LSU, AL.com’s Mike Rodak reported.
Dale missed Alabama’s last game against Mississippi State prior to the bye week due to an undisclosed injury. He’s been a key part of the Crimson Tide defense this year, totaling eight tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks in seven appearances.

Alabama and LSU are preparing to face off in a pivotal SEC West showdown in Death Valley. Both teams appeared in the top 10 of the first College Football Playoff rankings this week — Alabama at No. 6 and LSU at No. 10. That shows the importance of Saturday’s game not only from a conference standpoint, but also on a national stage.
Earlier this week in the lead-up to the game, Nick Saban provided a promising update on Dale and Jaheim Oatis, who also missed the Mississippi State game due to injury.
“I think both guys are going to start back to practice this week,” Saban said. “We’ll kind of determine how they do during the course of the week and what their availability will be when the game comes.”

Henry To’o To’o breaks down Jayden Daniels ahead of Alabama at LSU
Henry To’o To’o has never been one to back down from a challenge, and LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels presents a huge one this weekend.
Ahead of Alabama taking on the Tigers in Death Valley, To’o To’o broke down how the Crimson Tide will defend the dual-threat quarterback.
“They’re two totally different guys. Two guys that can do the same thing,” To’o To’o said, regarding the comparison between Daniels and Arkansas quarterback KJ Jefferson. “But I feel like Jayden is a really elusive guy. He’s so fast, he’s like a running back. So quick in and out of his cuts, and he can throw the ball too. Jayden’s going to be a huge problem for us this weekend, being able to scheme for him and tackle him in space, but super excited about him.
“He’s definitely one of those quarterbacks you’ve got to prepare for. You’ve got to tackle well, you’ve got to practice well to go up against guys like that. But we’ve got a great scout team that’ll prepare us for him, and we’re going to be ready for this week.”
