LOOK: Earl Little Sr trolls transfer portal rumors surrounding son with tweet, music clip
On Wednesday, Alabama DB Earl Little Jr‘s father sent a definitive message to anyone wondering whether the Crimson Tide youngster might transfer. Earl Little Sr. tweeted that his son is “HAPPY” and “getting better everyday.”
The former top-100 recruit received mention in a now-deleted story from 247Sports naming potential transfers due to their playing situations in the 2022 season.
Little didn’t play during the regular season for the Tide but, according to his father, he isn’t going anywhere. He made that especially clear by adding music to the tweet with the lyrics, “Ain’t goin’ nowhere.”
“Some of y’all can stop with the rumors,” Little Sr. tweeted. “Straight A student athlete, straight BALLIN & getting better everyday. He’s HAPPY!!!!! 2023 gonna be a problem! #FOE #RTR”
BamaInsider reporter Clint Lamb named Little one of seven young Crimson Tide players that the team can’t afford to lose. Not only does the Florida native have talent, but also, Alabama is about to have a real need for breakout defensive backs.
