Alabama OT Elijah Pritchett no longer entering transfer portal
Alabama offensive lineman Elijah Pritchett is no longer entering the transfer portal, he told On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Pritchett announced his intention to transfer on Friday.
“Transferring is not in my best interest,” Pritchett told On3. “I apologize for any and all inconveniences. I’m 100% locked in. Roll Tide!”
Pritchett just wrapped up his second season with the Crimson Tide. After redshirting his freshman season, Pritchett appeared in all 13 games for Alabama this year. Although, Pritchett always found a way onto the field, his minutes were limited.
Pritchett boasts excellent size, standing at 6-foot-6, 312 pounds. Further, he has no shortage of time left to grow. Pritchett will have three years of eligibility remaining. Pritchett was also heavily recruited by USC and Florida State when he was in high school.
Elijah Pritchett played high school football at Carver (GA), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 34 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
