Elite 2024 QB Julian Sayin commits to Alabama
Class of 2024 quarterback Julian Sayin of Carlsbad (Calif.) High announced his commitment to Alabama Wednesday afternoon.
The 6-foot-1, 185 pounder chose the Crimson Tide over LSU and Georgia.
Sayin on why he chose Alabama
“Alabama is the standard for college football,” Sayin said. “The culture, track record for QBs, and all other positions to the NFL is second to none. Also, the business-like approach at Alabama is what I was drawn to. I want to go somewhere I will be coached hard and they will bring the best out of me. The talent they bring in will be elite every year and they surround you with the best players in the country.”
Relationships with Bill O’Brien and Nick Saban stood out
“I have a great relationship with Coach O’Brien,” Sayin said. “I like how we can just talk about ball together and have the opportunity to learn so much from him. With the NFL background he has, the skills he can teach me are going to be very crucial. I really like Coach Saban as well. I like how he is very transparent and isn’t going to fluff anything. What I have heard about him is that he is very good to the players and is looking out for their best interest. Obviously his track record speaks for itself, so I am excited to get to work in that program.”
