Elite 2024 quarterback DJ Lagway offered by Alabama

Willis (Texas) quarterback DJ Lagway has received an offer from Alabama, he announced Saturday evening.

As a 2024 prospect, Lagway doesn’t currently have an On3 Consensus ranking, but he is rated as a four-star prospect and 90 overall rating.

“ALL GLORY TO GOD!!!” Lagway wrote on Twitter announcing his offer. “Blessed to have received an offer from the University of Alabama!!!”

The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder has already received more than a dozen Power Five offers, including Texas A&M, LSU, Georgia, North Carolina and Ole Miss.

He has already been to Texas A&M four times on unofficial visits, including a trip last weekend during the Aggies’ junior day festivities. As a class of 2024 prospect, Lagway can’t be contacted by coaches directly, but he can reach out to them himself to initiate contact.

He is the third quarterback Alabama has offered in the 2024 recruiting cycle, joining No. 1 overall prospect Jadyn Davis and top-15 prospect Dylan Raiola.
