Elite 2025 RB Anthony Rogers commits to Alabama
Four-star running back Anthony Rogers of Pike Road (AL) IMG Academy announced his commitment to Alabama Friday afternoon.
The 5-foot-8, 185 pounder chose the Crimson Tide over Florida, Georgia, Auburn, and Oregon.
Rogers on why he chose Alabama
“I’ve always liked Bama since my first visit,” Rogers said. “I just love the feeling there. They have great coaches and I love the hard work you put in there.”
Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for Anthony Rogers
“I’m closest with coach Gillespie,” Rogers said. “We talk about how I can fit into their offense. He says I’m explosive and can make big plays taking handoffs or catching out of the backfield. I can be lined up at the slot as well and could be used as a returner.”
The in-state running back joins coach Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide’s top 2 class in the 2025 team rankings. He is accompanied by five-star wide receiver Ryan Williams, and four-stars Mason Short and Dontrell Glover.
