Explosive, scary Jerry Jeudy impressing in Broncos camp
Former Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy continues to dominate fall camp for the Denver Broncos. The second-year wideout has turned heads for much of the offseason and many people have him penciled in for a breakout year.
He’s one of the best route runners in the National Football League. He was known for his surgical route running at Alabama and that skill set has translated to the NFL.
If a football field were a canvas, Jerry Jeudy would be he painter and his route running would be the brush strokes. His surgical and precise route-running make it a work of art; the way he carves and dissects defenses with ease.
Denver quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was raving about the former Alabama star’s route running when he spoke with the media recently.
“Jerry Jeudy, man. He scares me, man,” Bridgewater said. “The way he’s in and out of breaks — he can’t have ACLs or knees. I wish I had his knees. But that guy, the way he’s able to change directions. He’s able to make all of his routes look the same. He’s doing a great job of attacking the ball when we throw it across the middle. He’s making plays after the catch. He’s having fun. And that’s what you love to see. That entire room, those guys, they feed off each other’s energy. If Jerry makes a play, you see Tim out there celebrating. If Court make a catch, Kendall will high five him. These guys are jumping up top, having fun.

“So if you have that camaraderie in that room–it’s contagious. Right now, you see Jerry making plays and that entire room.”
