LOOK: Former Alabama tight end Caden Clark makes transfer portal commitment
Alabama Crimson Tide redshirt freshman tight end Caden Clark is heading back to his hometown of Akron, Ohio after committing to the Zips via social media Monday afternoon.
Coming out of high school in Akron, Ohio, the 6-foot-4, 258-pound tight end chose Alabama over Clemson, Michigan, Ohio State and others. He was a four-star prospect and the No. 17-ranked tight end in the 2021 class, per the On3 Consensus.
Previously, Clark was the second tight end to transfer away from Tuscaloosa since the end of the season. Jahleel Billingsley entered the portal after the national championship loss and chose Texas as the No. 1 TE prospect available.
Akron won a measly two games last season, and hasn’t had a winning season since 2015 (8-5). With a 3-3-27 record for the Zips over the past three seasons, Clark wants to help turn the program around during his homecoming season.

Alabama lands coveted transfer commitment from former ACC speedster Tyler Harrell
The Alabama Crimson Tide just picked up a big commitment from former Louisville Cardinals wide receiver Tyler Harrell. Harrell took to Twitter to announce the news on Friday afternoon.
This past season at Louisville, Harrell played in 12 games, bringing in 18 receptions for 523 yards and six touchdowns, averaging 29.1 yards per reception. His ability to create plays with his speed down the field should fit in seamlessly in an offense that is looking to replace Jameson Williams and John Metchie at wide receiver.
Harrell visited Alabama over last weekend, and just a week later he has officially decided to play for Nick Saban with the Crimson Tide. He is a former three-star prospect out of Florida, and he is the No. 111 wide receiver in this year’s transfer portal cycle.
