Alabama LB Henry To’oTo’o had hoped to raise his 2023 NFL Draft stock at the Reese’s Senior Bowl. Unfortunately, the former Crimson Tide defensive staple won’t get the chance to do so.

On Monday, Creg Stephenson of AL.com revealed To’oTo’o will miss the event due to an undisclosed injury.

“Former Alabama linebacker Henry To’oTo’o has withdrawn from the 2023 Reese’s Senior Bowl due to an undisclosed injury, game officials confirmed Monday,” wrote Stephenson. “To’oTo’o was no longer listed on the official Senior Bowl game roster posted online Monday. Trey Wallace of Outkick.com first reported the news on To’oTo’o.”

Additionally, Stephenson pointed out that To’oTo’o’s Alabama teammate — safety Jordan Battle — also pulled out of this weekend’s event. Now, both Alabama stars will hope to raise their draft stock at the 2023 NFL Combine — their next opportunity to do so.

Moreover, To’oTo’o declared for the 2023 NFL Draft via social media earlier in January, writing a passionate letter to Alabama faithful in the process.

To’oTo’o played high school football at De La Salle (CA), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 64 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He spent two seasons with Tennessee before transferring to the Crimson Tide. During his four years at the collegiate level, To’oTo’o compiled 353 total tackles (177 solo), six passes defended, one forced fumble, one interception and a touchdown.

It remains to be seen how NFL teams think of Henry To’oTo’o. On one hand, he was one of the most important pieces of an SEC defense, but on the other Alabama’s defense wasn’t up to snuff in 2022.

Regardless, he’ll have plenty of chances to prove himself over the NFL Draft process, and someone will be happy to employ his services at the next level.
