Rashaan Evans – the former Alabama star who was selected 22nd overall by the Tennessee Titans in the 2018 NFL Draft – is visiting with the Atlanta Falcons on Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

After playing his first four NFL seasons with the Titans, the organization declined to exercise the fifth-year option on Evans’ contract, which made the linebacker a free agent following the 2021 campaign. Now, Evans is looking for a new home – and that could be in Atlanta.

If Evans were to sign with the Falcons, he’d reunite with former Tennessee coordinators Arthur Smith and Dean Pees – who are now Atlanta’s head coach and defensive coordinator, respectively. That alone could play a pivotal role in Evans’ decision.

Following a standout career at Alabama, Evans was drafted in the first round by the Titans and went on to put together a solid run with the team – registering 317 total tackles, three sacks, three fumble recoveries and two interceptions while playing in 59 regular season games. The linebacker also made 50 starts.
