2025 top-15 WR Jaime Ffrench commits to Alabama
Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin four-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench still has plenty of time remaining in his commitment. That’s not stopping him from making a decision early.
On Saturday the 2025 top-15 wide receiver announced his pledge to Alabama choosing the Crimson Tide over Florida State.
“I committed there so early because of the opportunity with what they’re offering me,” Ffrench told On3. “The coaches have shown me a lot of love and have stayed in contact. I try to go as much as I can and see everything they have to offer.
“I love everything Alabama has to offer and I know I’m going to get developed for the next level.”
Prior to his pledge to the Crimson Tide, Ffrench had visited Tuscaloosa three times and left each visit more impressed than the last. He’s set to return on July 29 for their annual cookout.
Ffrench said he has love for each of the schools that have recruited him up to this point but with Alabama it was different.
“It’s the culture they have there that’s really stood out to me,” said Ffrench, the No. 13 player in the 2025 class. “You look at the receivers they’ve put into the league in the past thanks to Coach (Holmon) Wiggins. He’s an awesome receivers coach that knows what he’s doing.
“He had guys like Jerry Jeudy, DeVonta Smith and developed them into NFL wide receivers. Knowing that he’s going to develop me for the next level really sold it for me.”

Ffrench said that the biggest thing he was looking for in his recruitment was a home. Every time he’s traveled to Tuscaloosa, that’s the feel he’s gotten from the coaches, players and everyone on campus.
Originally the plan for Ffrench wasn’t to commit this early. Then he attended a camp and got the feeling that it was just meant to be.
“It was just that feeling that it was home,” French said. “I’ve been taking visits for the last two years and never felt the way about another school like I felt about Alabama. I also get to play for the best to ever do it in Coach (Nick) Saban.
“He knows the game and makes sure everyone is doing their job right. Finding the right head coach is crucial in the recruiting process and I did that.”
