Jason Jackson not taking time to reflect on what Alabama has accomplished until offseason
Jason Jackson isn’t letting Alabama’s success under his watch thus far cloud their potential.
What the Crimson Tide have accomplished under their interim skipper has been nothing short of phenomenal, as they’ve kept the main thing the main thing following Brad Bohannon’s dismissal. That could’ve unraveled some less mentally strong teams, but it’s led Alabama to the Super Regional.
As the Crimson Tide prepare to face the top team in the nation in the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, Jackson’s some focus is winning and moving forward, not reminiscing on the great job he’s done over the last few months.
“You know, we haven’t even spent a lot of time — I think there will be time to reflect on you know, what these guys have been able to accomplish. But everything we’ve done so far, we’re just trying to keep getting better each day. Focus on the task at hand. You know, whenever the season’s over, you have time to kind of sit back and reflect. I mean, there’s times when I look at these guys and I’m just so proud of them. The whole team and the staff, everybody. But for the most part, we just kind of keep on plugging along, and get ready for the next thing.”
That’s the correct mindset to have for Alabama. There will be plenty of time to celebrate a job well done when the job is actually finished.
Until then, the Crimson Tide are going to get all they can get under Jason Jackson’s leadership. Wake Forest may be the top team in the nation, but Alabama doesn’t care, it’s going to be a battle for the right to play in the College World Series.

Jackson’s squad will have to go through the Wake Forest Demon Deacons if they’re to seize a spot in the College World Series. Instead of being intimidated, Alabama is simply looking at facing the top team in the nation as a fantastic opportunity to showcase their abilities.
“I think that it’s a great opportunity,” explained Jackson. “I think our guys have earned this opportunity, to get a chance to you know, go on the road and play the team that’s ranked No. 1 in the country.
“Said before, we’re really excited about it, so yeah.”
While it may be a tough challenge, Alabama can truly make a statement if they can not only play Wake Forest hard, but if they can beat them over the weekend.
It won’t be easy, and Jason Jackson recognizes that. However, if you’ve learned anything over the last few months, remember not to bet against Alabama, even if all the odds aren’t in their favor.
