Report: JoJo Earle, Tyler Harrell dressed, participating in warmups ahead Vanderbilt game
Alabama receivers JoJo Earle and Tyler Harrell are dressed and participating in pre-game warmups ahead of a matchup against Vanderbilt on Saturday, according to Crimson Tide beat reporter Charlie Potter.
It is the first game this season that either player has dressed for. Earle and Harrell have both been dealing with foot injuries that kept them from playing in the first three games of the season.
Last year as a true freshman, Earle finished with 12 catches for 148 yards and also served as a punt returner for Alabama. Harrell is a transfer from Louisville who totaled 18 catches for 523 yards and six touchdowns this past season with the Cardinals. He ranked as the No. 66 overall player and No. 14 receiver according to On3’s Transfer Portal Rankings.
In addition to JoJo Earle and Tyler Harrell, true freshman receiver Aaron Anderson is also dressed and taking part in pre-game warmups. Anderson is dealing with a knee injury and has also not seen any action this season. He ranks and the No. 4 receiver and No. 36 overall player in the 2022 class according to On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average.

Nick Saban issues challenge to Alabama ahead of SEC play
The Alabama Crimson Tide hosts the Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday for the first SEC matchup of the 2022 season. During his weekly show, head coach Nick Saban issued a challenge for Bama fans to show up and make their presence a factor in the game.
“I’m going to ask the fans the same thing that I ask the players,” Saban said at the conclusion of the show. “‘Why are we here?’ We’re here to dominate in the SEC, play SEC games, and have a positive performance when we play SEC games. We’ve had three games now, the lead-up to prepare ourselves to do that.
“But we’ve got to create an atmosphere and an environment when we’re playing at home that creates a disadvantage for the other team. That means when they have the ball and they’re doing their signals and they’re trying to get the snap count… we’ve got to make them go silent. It’s a huge advantage for the defense when you can do that, so I’m hopeful that we’ll have a great crowd.”
