Alabama safety Jordan Battle is a South Florida native. Ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft, he says that he would love to come home to Florida and join the Miami Dolphins in particular.

Jordan Battle explained why he would love to play his professional football in Florida during the NFL Combine.

“That’s the home team,” Battle said.

“I would love to go home. A lot of people would have to get a no, though, if I go down there. I know people are gonna want tickets to the games, but I’m gonna have to learn to say no.”

Jordan Battle confirmed that he did meet with the Miami Dolphins, who don’t currently have a first round pick due to tampering issues. So, if he does go to Miami it will either be because he slid to the second round or the Dolphins made a trade to go get him.

“I feel like we had a great relationship. We got more and more close as the years went by, whether it’s us having a little conversation on the side or coming to me asking him how was his day or how was his day going. How could we make it better?” Battle said.

“Just creating that bond with Coach Saban. Making him more outgoing with his players. I think I did a good job with that and I feel like me and coach have a lifelong friendship.”
