LOOK: 2024 top-15 QB Julian Sayin on Alabama visit
Carlsbad (Calif.) four-star quarterback Julian Sayin is taking a visit to Alabama tonight for the Crimson Tide’s game against Mississippi State. Sayin’s trip to Tuscaloosa is his third overall and first since June 13.
Before the game, Sayin took a photo with Alabama head coach Nick Saban. Additionally, he snapped a picture on the turf of Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Sayin is the No. 15 overall prospect and No. 2 quarterback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in California.
“I want to get the atmosphere’s whole feel this weekend,” Sayin told On3’s Chad Simmons about his Alabama visit. “I want to see what a game-day is like. What is it like with students there? This visit will show me a lot. I will take it all in. From the fans to the campus to everything Alabama is about. It will be a big one.”

According to Simmons, Sayin is being recruited by Crimson Tide offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien. The California native also plans to announce his commitment in the coming weeks.

“My goal was to make a decision before the end of the season and the season is almost over, so I would say I am still on that timeline,” Sayin said. “I feel good about where I am at.”
Alabama’s 2024 recruiting class currently contains three prospects. They are Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville four-star athlete Jaylen Mbakwe, Foley (Ala.) four-star wide receiver Perry Thompson and Rome (Ga.) four-star tight end Martavious Collins.
Sayin has an On3 NIL Valuation of $130K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
