Arguably the biggest official visit in the country this weekend is happening in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The Crimson Tide have a host of elite prospects in town for their game against Texas A&M, but none are bigger than five-star Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep EDGE Keon Keeley.

On Saturday evening, as Keeley was making his way around tailgates during the visit, he met the aunt of Alabama star EDGE Will Anderson, who posted pictures of them together outside the stadium on Twitter.

The 6-foot-6, 245-pounder is one of the top two uncommitted prospects in the 2023 class, ranking No. 1 at the position and as the No. 11 overall recruit in the On3 Consensus.

His trip to Tuscaloosa is the second he has made since July, first making an unofficial visit the weekend of July 29. He soon after decommitted from Notre Dame, where he’d been pledged for more than a year. Alabama, Florida and Ohio State immediately became the three main contenders in his recruitment. The Buckeyes hosted him twice in the month of September, while the Gators hosted him for an unofficial visit early last month as well.

The Crimson Tide are currently the slight favorites to land him, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). The RPM gives Alabama a 52.4 percent chance of securing his commitment, with Ohio State (25.4%) and Florida (20.3%) trailing behind. According to On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons though, it’s the Buckeyes and Tide fighting back and forth for Keeley’s commitment with the Gators running in third.

He currently doesn’t have a commitment date, but Simmons expects this to be the final visit before a decision is made.
