New Orleans Isidore Newman Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Arch Manning is in Alabama this weekend for his official visit to the school.

The five-star quarterback keeps a very low profile on his visits and doesn’t post anything from his college trips.

But that doesn’t mean others don’t want to grab a photo with Manning. During his visit this weekend, one of those players is Windsor (Conn.) The Loomis Chaffee School Olaus Alinen, who snapped a selfie with Manning.

Arch Manning is visiting Alabama despite Eli Holstein’s commitment

Arch Manning isn’t the only quarterback in town this weekend to see Alabama. Four-star commit Eli Holstein is also in Tuscaloosa, Ala., this weekend.

Holstein committed to the Crimson Tide last month, which appeared to many to be the end of Alabama’s pursuit of Manning. However, Manning has still elected to take his official visit, and the Crimson Tide had said that they want to take two quarterbacks this cycle.

Alabama recruiting reporter Joseph Hastings said in his preview of the weekend that the Crimson Tide coaches are going to be hammering that home to Manning.

“Bill O’Brien, Nick Saban, and Pete Golding will likely reiterate to Manning what they told Dylan Lonergan last week: The plan is to take two quarterbacks in this class. Once those players get on campus, the program is going to put the best signal caller on the field,” Hastings said. “Manning, however, is a prospect who will value the overall presentation of the football team and school. Lunch with the professors, the weight training program, academic seminars, and being around the students will be crucial for him.”
