LOOK: Nick Saban watches Arch Manning's basketball game

Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Arch Manning is a two-sport athlete, spending his winters on the hardwood for New Orleans Isidore Newman.

His presence is making the games big-time events with some of the biggest names in college football making apperances.

Over the few weeks, Manning has been watched by some of the best coaches in college football.

Last night Alabama head coach Nick Saban along with defensive coordinator Pete Golding made an appearance at New Orleans Isidore Newman’s game against New Orleans De La Salle.

New Orleans Isidore Newman won the game 60-55.

Arch Manning is the top player in the 2023 class

Arch Manning is the No. 1 recruit in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He is also one of four Five-Star Plus+ prospects in the class with Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton EDGE Lebbeus Overton, Los Alamitos (Calif.) quarterback Malachi Nelson and Lakeland (Fla.) Lake Gibson cornerback Cormani McClain. The recognition means they are ranked as a five-star recruit by all four major recruiting media companies.

Earlier in the week, Georgia head coach Kirby Smart, offensive coordinator Todd Monken, assistant head coach Matt Luke, and offensive quality control assistant Buster Faulkner all stopped by to watch Manning play.

The Crimson Tide and Bulldogs — along with Clemson, Ole Miss and Texas — are the five main schools vying for Manning’s commitment. Georgia is the current favorite for Arch Manning, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).
